14-Day Bongo and/or Sitatunga Safari for One Hunter and One Non-Hunter in the Cameroon Rain Forest
Mayo Oldiri Safaris is pleased to donate a 16-day (14 hunting days) bongo and/or Sitatunga rifle safari for one hunter and one non-hunter at their VIP Camp (Boumba North) in the Cameroon Rain Forest – trophy fees are at winner’s cost. This hunt is available April-July 2021 or 2022 and may be upgraded to include additional species at current price list or by adding another hunter at $45,000 (maximum two hunters per camp at the same time) and non-hunters at $300/day. Transportation during the hunt is mostly by vehicle with hunting done by spot & stalk. This package includes airport assistance upon arrival/departure, professional hunter with trackers and porters, soft drinks while in camp, beer/wine in reasonable quantities, all meals, camp support crew (cook, skinner, waiter, laundry service, driver, mechanic, etc.), fully-equipped camp accommodations in stone-built bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and lounge/dining area, use of additional semi-permanent fly-camp, preparation of trophies for shipment and unlimited use of hunting vehicles while on safari. Not included are big game hunting license at 1,250€ ($1,477), small game hunting license at 500€ if needed ($591), trophy fees for bongo at 3,000€ ($3,544) and/or forest Sitatunga at 2,500€ ($2,953), trophy fees for other animals taken, wounded or lost, 10% anti-poaching tax on all trophy fees for funding community-development programs, pre-taxidermy, packing & wrapping, trophy transport to Douala, storage at shipping agent, intercontinental flights, RT charter flights from Douala-camp, domestic flights, rifle/ammo rental, personal expenditures, pickup of any delayed luggage or rifles, insurance coverage and PH/staff gratuities.
