The Road to DSC Convention 2027 Starts Here

The road to Atlanta is underway.

From January 7 through 10, 2027, DSC Convention & Sporting Expo returns to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, bringing together hunters, anglers, conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts, outfitters, industry leaders, artists and families from around the world.

As one of the largest outdoor shows in the country, DSC Convention brings the hunting, fishing and outdoor community together for four days in Atlanta. Thousands of sportsmen and sportswomen will attend, with more than 1,000 exhibits from Alaska to Zimbabwe filling the show floor.

DSC Convention is also one of the nation’s largest conservation fundraising events, generating millions of dollars to support conservation, education and advocacy efforts.

Whether this will be your first DSC Convention or you have been attending for years, here is a look at what awaits in Atlanta.

1,000+ Exhibits. Four Days to Explore.

There is a lot of ground to cover at DSC Convention.

More than 1,000 exhibits give attendees the opportunity to meet outfitters and explore hunting and fishing opportunities across North America, Africa, Europe and beyond. If you have a particular destination or species in mind, Convention gives you the chance to talk directly with outfitters, ask questions, compare opportunities and begin planning your next trip face to face.

And there is much more to the show floor than hunting and fishing destinations. Firearms, optics, outdoor gear, wildlife art, taxidermy, jewelry and other products and services from across the outdoor industry will all be represented.

For some, Convention is a chance to finally start planning a hunt that has been on the bucket list for years. For others, it is an opportunity to discover a destination or experience they had never considered before.

The Experience Continues After the Show Floor

Convention does not end when the exhibit hall closes.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings each feature one of DSC’s signature banquets, bringing attendees together for great food, drinks, featured speakers, award presentations, raffles and live auctions featuring hunts, fishing adventures, travel experiences, wildlife art and one-of-a-kind opportunities.

Thursday is Conservation Night and kicks off the banquet series with an evening centered on conservation. Guests can expect a cocktail reception, dinner, awards, raffles and a live auction. The evening’s attire is Boots & Buckles.

Friday is Education Night, highlighting education and its role in the future of hunting and conservation. Dinner, drinks, speakers, awards, raffles and auction opportunities fill the evening, with Business Casual attire.

Saturday closes the series with Advocacy Night, focusing on advocacy and the future of hunting. The evening includes a cocktail reception, formal dinner, awards, raffles and a live auction. Attire is Black Tie Optional.

For anyone planning to attend a banquet, there is another benefit worth knowing before purchasing show admission: a banquet ticket includes a complimentary four-day pass to the DSC Convention & Sporting Expo.

More Than the Main Show

Friday also brings the DSC Ladies Luncheon & Auction: Peaches & Pearls at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park. The afternoon gives women a chance to enjoy cocktails, lunch, entertainment and auction excitement away from the show floor. This year’s attire is Polished Southern Chic.

The Life Member Appreciation Breakfast is another event to put on the Convention calendar. The breakfast recognizes DSC Life Members and brings members and attendees together during Convention. The event is open to the public, with casual attire.

Raffles are also part of the Convention experience throughout the week, giving attendees the chance to win firearms, hunting and fishing trips, outdoor gear, wildlife art and more.

Together, the show floor, banquets, special events, auctions and raffles help make Convention much more than four days of exhibits.

Convention With a Purpose

Behind everything happening in Atlanta is DSC’s mission to ensure the conservation of wildlife through public engagement, education and advocacy for well-regulated hunting and sustainable use.

Convention plays an important role in funding that mission. The money generated through the event helps support conservation, education and advocacy efforts that extend far beyond the four days spent in Atlanta.

It is part of what makes DSC Convention different. Attendees can plan their next adventure, meet people from across the outdoor community and enjoy everything Convention has to offer while also supporting the larger mission behind DSC.

Start Planning for Atlanta

Registration and hotel reservations for the 2027 DSC Convention & Sporting Expo are now open.

Show passes are $35 for one day, $60 for two days, $80 for three days and $100 for all four days. First responders and military receive free admission with valid ID, and minors 16 and under are admitted free.
